Joshua's first day back at school (1 month later)
It's almost one month to the day that Joshua returned to school, starting third grade, and quite honestly I think he was thrilled to be back at school.
It's almost one month to the day that Joshua returned to school, starting third grade, and quite honestly I think he was thrilled to be back at school. Things are a little different this year as he started getting up on his own, getting dressed, and making his bed. Plus, he some how convinced mommy to make him waffles from scratch every morning. He also wanted to sign up for just about every after school activity made available. Jo and I talked about it at length and decide to allow him to do the extra activities he wants, hopefully it's not a mistake. Therefore, Joshua has not only third grade and Soccer w/North Meck but also Cub Scouts, Chess Club, Science Club, Ti-Quan-Do, Violin Lessons, and something else I cannot remember at the moment. Basically he's booked after school and soccer practice consumes the after-after school time a couple nights every week. Yes, burn-out is a concern but to be honest unless it's a weekend morning he cannot remain still.
We'll see how this year goes because we've heard from just about every parent that third grade is the hardest year....
